The Menora is the official publication of the Jewish Community of Slovenia. For now it is a more or less regular monthly publication. The Menora was first issued in 1998 as two rabbis of a famous Jewish religious organization - Chabad Lubavitch - visited Ljubljana.
The primary intention of the Menora is to present Judaism as a religion, culture and nationality and in the broader sense to inform our members as well as non-members (whether they be Jewish or not) about community activities. It includes a long range of articles and texts on Jewish religious and cultural topics, important Jewish personalities, Jewish symbols, current events and news, Torah portions and Talmudic wisdoms.
Anybody residing in Slovenia can subscribe to the Menora. The Menora is published in Slovene.
