On 18 January 2003, the Jewish community of Slovenia received the Sefer Torah. In the presence of Mr. Keith Miles and Mr. Mark Cohen who have organised the donations (the donors wish to remain anonymous), Rabbi Ariel Haddad held a short ceremony at the Community's newly equipped temporary synagogue. The synagogue is located in the same building as the Community's office. It has a small prayer room and an ante-room with a kitchen niche that can accommodate around 50 persons.
